Yvonne Colacion

Yvonne Colacion is noted for creating thoughtful, distinguished spaces throughout the world. Her passion is to continually explore unique design solutions related to the ever-evolving lifestyles of her clients and to create environments that enhance both the user and guest experience.

Enjoying all aspects of design; Colacion is currently carefully curating the design for a new luxury multi-family residential project which reflects the unique energy and diversity of the West Hollywood community in California.

With an emphasis on place and an understanding of storytelling; evoking a memory is at the root of creating private residential projects or defining the narrative for an intimate hospitality experience. Yvonne has brought this design process to new resort hospitality brands in Southern California, Las Vegas, and Mexico as well as residential properties in Beverly Hills. With many success stories both domestically and internationally; Colacion Studio is regularly commissioned to lead the design for both private luxury projects as well as public projects in the US, the Middle East, and beyond.

Prior to establishing her own firm, Yvonne was the Design Director and West Coast Leader for Gensler Hospitality – Los Angeles, and Vice President of Corporate Interiors at RTKL. Both positions included the marketing of domestic and international projects and the curation of design for her team’s clients.

Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Architecture. She stays apprised of local market trends by being involved in well-established professional organizations, such as the AIA Los Angeles, the Society of British Interior Design, and the International Interior Design Association.

Believing in supporting the next generation of design talent; Yvonne devotes her spare time as a guest instructor at several Southern California universities. And with a love of the arts, Yvonne is a board member for Self Help Graphics & Arts in Los Angeles, California.
